Artist: Patrick of Tattoo Asylum.

So after I posted Lilymoon, I told myself that I'd get back to it. I thought I could add more detail to it. The truth is, I couldn't think of much to add at all. I wanted to add some celtic twists to the moon, but it seemed...wrong somehow.

Last night I had the opportunity to tag along as a former coworker of mine was inked. We went to a new shop called Tattoo Asylum near my apartment. I've never been in one before. I didn't even know what to expect beyond what I had seen in (oft B-rate) biker movies. I was surprised when I found it was quite the opposite. An excellent artist by the name of Patrick did the work.

I had been mulling over the issue of having the tattoo done for some time. I had even decided to put it on my right leg a month ago. I simply did not work up the courage. At the end of the night I had an appointment with the same artist.

The above picture is taken only hours after having it done. My leg still stings. ^^;
