Tess, many years have separated us as well and words that should never been said and some that should have but never were. i have tried to find an e-mail address where i could reach you but i never was very good with computers. i had hoped that you would try to find me, but since you haven't it's up to me to try and breach this barrier that time has built between us. Perhaps you will remember me if I give you more insight. We met in the 5th grade and shared a friendship and lunches up until two or three years after graduation. Your home was a haven to me till you moved. There were many times when I would come over and we would say nothing, but just sit in companionable silence. A friendship that would have probably lasted if we didn’t betray each others trust and then let everything we had built fall to silence. I regret the words spoken on both our accounts and reach out to you once more. While the level of friendship we once had might never be again, I would like to try, that is, if you are willing.

i never told you that i was sorry that i broke your mothers cross necklace. i played with it every time i got in your car because i missed her to. when you and your dad would go to computer conferences i would call her to talk on the phone (did you know that?). I'm sorry i broke it. i still think about you daily. you were my best friend.
